Stair Nose Is Color Matched and Made to Order
Installing vinyl flooring is a great choice for many reasons. If your project includes stairs then you'll have to do a little extra planning and purchase a few additional items. For the stair part that you walk on, called a tread, you'll use a vinyl plank and a piece called a stair nose. Both of these will need to be securely attached to the underlying structure of the stairs. You can go right over the existing wood tread by cutting off the nose of the tread if applicable. So for each tread you will need at minimum 1 piece of vinyl plank, one peice of stair nose and adhesive. Each stair nose that we sell is 94" inches long so you can may be able to do multiple steps with a single piece. Our stair nose trim pieces are unique and color matched specifically to each of our rigid core vinyl flooring products.
