SRP™ TPU flooring is an alchemy of responsible beauty that is designed to transform waste plastic bottles into innovative, circular flooring. Two plastic bottles* are upcycled into each square foot of SRP™ TPU Flooring and built into a simple chemistry that allows the planks to be upcycled into new flooring post use, while maintaining optimal performance and quality.

SRP™ TPU Flooring’s wear layer is composed of PETG, a non-toxic thermoplastic polyester typically found in plastic bottles and food product packaging, that delivers significant chemical resistance, durability, and formability. TPU, the core of SRP™ TPU flooring, is a highly versatile material prized for its durability, flexibility, and structural integrity. Its exceptional performance makes it a popular choice in various consumer products such as smartphone cases, watch straps, and athletic footwear.
HMTX is researching and developing multiple solutions to keep flooring out of the landfill. Due to the nature of TPU’s flexibility, SRP™ TPU flooring presents a unique opportunity for re-use and refurbishment. Users will be able to disassemble SRP products for reuse throughout a facility or to send back to HMTX for refurbishment.

HMTX has invested in people, machinery, and real estate to make our vision of a circular future a reality. SRP™ TPU non-vinyl flooring is designed to be completely re-made into new TPU flooring at the end of its life - but we can’t do it alone. Upon request, HMTX will send our partners and customers proper packaging to return SRP™ planks and tiles to our domestic warehouses, where we are putting in place processes that will allow us to grind and pelletize the material to be used again in new SRP™ flooring products.
